Our investor community at Babson Capital Europe is not only diverse by geographic location but also by type. As a result, our aim is to provide a leading investor relations service to all our investors that is tailored to their individual needs.
We value our investors and believe that they should expect open communications and transparent information from asset managers to whom they have entrusted money. We want to communicate with our investors in face-to-face meetings, via email or over the telephone. In addition, our trustees and custodians provide regular reports on the overall performance and underlying assets of our funds and separate accounts.
These periodic communications are complemented by our annual CLO and mezzanine funds investor meetings, which we hold in London each year. The annual investor meetings are an excellent opportunity for all of our investors to hear about fund performance and trends in the European loan market from members of the Babson Capital Europe team. The meetings also present an ideal opportunity for investors to openly discuss the performance and raise any questions they may have. We also appreciate receiving feedback from our investors at the meetings.
In addition to open communication, we also believe that an alignment of interests between asset manager and investor is extremely important to a healthy relationship. Across our funds we have aligned our interests with our investors' interests by being substantial investors in the majority of our funds.
